In April, the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® brand achieved its biggest milestone to date as a company: 10 million moves!
What started as a local moving business for two high school students in the mid-Michigan area has grown into an expansive, franchised moving company with locations in 48 states across the country, as well as locations in Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom!
“We’re setting the standard for the next 10 million moves,” said Randy Shacka, President of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. “I know it’s going to be much quicker based on the teams and the brand we’re building.”
To celebrate the milestone, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s Michigan Support Center office hosted a gathering with Michigan Support Center and franchise members from the state of Michigan to come together and recognize this monumental achievement, while also presenting a donation to the local charity E.V.E. (End Violent Encounters), to continue our tradition of giving back to the community.
“When we first got started back in the mid-80s, our founder, Mary Ellen Sheets, when she first made some profit – she didn’t know what to do with it. So, she wrote 10 checks to local charities here in Lansing. We want to keep doing that,” Shacka said.
